The thugs are trying to crush all opposition, all resistance which includes making people feel hopeless, depressed, or helpless.
But remember, you have riches beyond imagination:
You have access to the secrets of the universe centuries of humans searched long and hard for answers, and these answers are compiled into mountains of knowledge, many accessible from the palm of your hand.
You can grow flowers or trees from just a seed or an acorn. You can begin to plant a forest, or teach a child to read.
You can create love in your heart and hold it there, a flame that if continually fed fresh air and fuel, wont go out.
You have a blank canvas on which to paint one for each new day, and one for your life overall.
It happens that Ive been wanting an all-ceramic travel coffee mug. At a salvage store last week, I found one that fit the bill. A pretty sky blue, with the words Life is Beautiful on it. I feel this more strongly than ever. I think it behooves us to hold our visions of lifes beauty tightly, and share them often, to inspire others.
There is magic everywhere, especially in science, in nature, and in loving relationships. These goons who want to reduce us to dust, to grind us under the boot of a dystopian machine, as they try to squeeze lifes rich pageant into a Procrustean order? The beauty they offer is all fake, like Botox Barbies, the pretense of families that arent actually healthy on the inside, or violence renamed as heroism.
Real beauty has a few wrinkles, is found in truth, self-restraint, kindness to strangers.
These are the days of miracle and wonder.
Be a bright red rose that comes busting the concrete.
Remember that you are not just one of millions, but one truly unique person, all by yourself.
