The TX republicans will probably end this special session this Friday. No laws will be passed because the TX House was without a quorum. My guess is the TX House Dems will return after the gavel comes down, closing the special session.

Of course, Abbott will call another special session. He said that he would do that the moment the TX Dems broke quorum last week.

Will TX House Dems break quorum again? I don't know. IMO they strengthened their bargaining position by leaving TX and killing this session.
