My political facebook feed gives me all the links I also get through DU. Facebook is a tool like anything else, and it's not necessarily a walled garden compared to a public park due to it's global reach. Also, what public park are you speaking of? WaPo? Paywalled. NYT? Paywalled. Google? Can give you a million results and still not give you the right one.

I'm not a facebook apologist, but I don't think we need to social media sham each other, either.
