Kennedy is going to kill millions of us, according to this expert, foremost expert his mRNA decision alone is the most dangerous public healthcare decision in history.
No, millions may not die right away from this strain of Covid but they will from the bird flu and other pandemics that he will prevent vaccines from being prepared for in fact he will prevent all vaccines like we have said for months😡😡😡

(300 posts)Any chance of getting Sen. Cassidy to hold a Senate hearing on this and demand RFK show up? I of course have no faith in Cassidy, but he has criticized the RFK decision, and the backlash to the loss of mRNA tech is only growing.

It's really wonderful for dealing with antiscience types who show up here.

(34,282 posts)And thats all they can think about, Gilbert Gottfried used to talk about that and other stand-up comedians.
Here I pay too much attention to the few people who say things like no Donald Trump is not a traitor dont I understand the meaning of the word, no maga wont sign on to hurting other Americans dont I know what Im talking about whats wrong with me etc. or the legal folks who assure us the Supreme Court wont overturn Roe or give him immunity etc.
Its not healthy for me anyway to post because I do it with probably too much passion, unfortunately Im always predicting terrible horrible things and unfortunately they are always coming true, its not good for me.

(37,349 posts)...the "ignore" feature is my friend and I thus recommend my friend to a friend.
There is a certain amount of woo-woo that leaches through MIRT.
The overwhelming membership here knows that RFK is an ignorant slimy nutcase.
I'm proud to say I knew it long ago, way back in those halycon days when his stupidity was limited to his tenure as riverkeeper on the Hudson River.
He's a living walking demonstration that heroin is bad for you.

(34,282 posts)This horrific disgusting piece of human garbage RFK Junior are their family members or them personally.
I am sure they would have no problem with this because they expressed a certainty that there is no issue so I assume they are fine with my sincere hope.
Better them and their families than us and our families because we have done nothing wrong.

(22,240 posts)I really believe they are greatly in the minority at DU.
There is at least one antivaxx troll who keeps popping up to defend him, but they always get banned pretty fast, because most DU members are very quick to alert on their posts. That right there says a lot about how most of us here feel about that insanity, imo.

(6,869 posts)to reference "RFKjr apologists" on DU... just looks like someone who disagreed with your hyperbolic thread title. I haven't seen a single uterrance on this site that in any way excuses what RFKjr is doing. As the parent of an autistic child i am volcanic with rage at that brainworm riddled fucker. And i would sure as shit call anyone out who might think that brainworm riddled fucker had said or done anything to actually help Humanity.

(26,079 posts)the medical field needs to move away from depending upon the Feds and solely rely on their business requirements, e.g., focus on those vaccines needed by 100s of millions over the next cycle, etc., eh, supply and demand. Get away from the Feds, tRUMP and JFKjr seem to think that they alone stir the pot. They don't.

(34,282 posts)Other entities and companies could develop 1000 fantastic vaccines to do absolutely everything and he can say that the American people cannot have them.
Do people understand this??????
What RFK Jr. Cannot Do
Unilaterally ban vaccines or drugs
He does not have the legal authority to outright ban vaccines or medications. That would require congressional legislation or a legally defensible action by the FDA based on safety concerns.
Read the last sentence above, who doubts he would be backed up by a Maga court to do exactly this?
And even if he wasnt backed up, you could not afford the vaccine I could not afford it.
SWBTATTReg
(26,079 posts)And in your recent posts, you say he could unilaterally declare a vaccine unsafe. Seems far fetched to me. I can't believe that companies would just sit there and allow him to unilaterally reject a vaccine after it cost a company perhaps hundreds of millions to develop (or developed overseas that already had plenty of testing).

This is what he can do, read the last sentence, all he needs is a vile Maga or the disgusting traitor Supreme Court to back him up and say goodbye to the vaccine any vaccine, hell for that matter drugs any drugs.

(53,787 posts)Over time, Zero Hedge expanded into non-financial political content, including conspiracy theories and fringe rhetoric, and has advanced radical right, alt-right, and pro-Russia positions. Zero Hedge's non-financial commentary has led to multiple site bans by global social media platforms, although a 2019 Facebook ban and a 2020 Twitter ban were later reversed.
Zero Hedge's in-house content is authored by one "Tyler Durden", the pen name of site owner Daniel Ivandjiiski. The motto of the site is posted in the masthead of every page: "On a long enough timeline the survival rate for everyone drops to zero". The quote is from the book and film Fight Club, which is in turn a paraphrase of economist John Maynard Keynes who said "In the long run we are all dead".

(5,079 posts)from after the 2008 financial crisis. The blog seemed to really get that the crisis was far worse than was generally admitted. I thought that after the banksters showed up on Capitol Hill to force immediate passage of the $700 billion bailout and the incredible stock market volatility that even the average American could intuitively understand that we were at the edge of a precipice, but that wasn't the case.
Zero Hedge had the level of alarm that Calculated Risk and Naked Capitalism showed.
But reading Zero Hedge would quickly turn up libertarian nonsense that only a reich-winger or trust fund bro could believe. Other financial realist blogs like Automatic Earth eventually devolved to that level, but Zero Hedge was there from the beginning.

(14,666 posts)That is the estimate of how many lives have been saved by the global anti-AIDS program the US has operated since the GWH Bush Administration.
Trump tried to shut the program down when he started the second term, and it was halted for a while and will now continue on a reduced basis.
There is no doubt that Trump, or any MAGA President, would never have initiated the program.
There is no real ceiling to how many deaths could occur from a new pathogen with RFK in charge.

(866 posts)I work in a hospital, and covid messed me up so bad that I wont be able to work there if they take the vaccine away. I had a really bad immune response. I couldnt work for a month, and I had hives for SIX MONTHS and im talking hives head to toe, working 12 hour shifts with a mask on.
Not to mention, covid attacks highly vascular areas you might not even know would be damaged until you become older. I have seen it attack kidneys, brains, lungs, hearts, etc. People will die down the line from some of these things. Your lungs can handle the scar tissue now, but when you are older and get pneumonia it might end up killing you, because you didnt get vaccinated when were in your 20s. Also, kidneys dont tell you they are dead, until they are dead. We probably have a ton of people with damaged kidneys and we wont know for 20 or 30 years when they start to fail.
It is making me want to leave the country.

(586 posts)You had a 10x greater chance of dying from Covid if you were an unvaccinated person in USA and odds of you developing long Covid were 2x greater if you were not vaccinated. Those numbers are valid as of 1/24. But statistics like these mean nothing when you are made to believe science is part of some master plan to take control of everyone. Crazy thing is it's the conspiracy theories that turn you into the brainwashed zombies not science.
