I am convinced they believe that Trump IS the Antichrist and that's why they support him and will CONTINUE to support him. 11. I have familiarity with the Bible from my childhood, although I am an atheist/agnostic type now.

As it happens, I was familiar with the concept of the "antichrist" and I have long wondered why people who are Bible bangers are so adept at missing that.

Of course, they do not - as Alan Watts noted decades ago - adhere to a religion of Christ, but rather a religion about Christ, and the Christ they're "about" has nothing to do at all with the teachings of Christ.

Their hypocrisy of course exposes - for me at least - how unlikely a "God" is, since a "God," if there was one would smoke them, for worshipping Trump one of the most venal and evil people ever to rise to power in the United States.

Not a Bible scholar here, but raised on this antichrist teachings in the King James version. That beast rising from the sea with seven heads and a name on them always fascinated me in a scary kind of way imaging it more like a Godzilla creature and now it's the Trump towers.
