Ex-Fundie enumerates all the ways that tRump fits the Biblical descriptions of the Antichrist.

I didn't grow up religious, so not all that familiar with these passages. Wow.

Because they believe THEY will be raptured straight to Heaven without all the fear, suffering and pain of actually DYING. Then they will sit in the clouds with Jesus, watching all the chaos on Earth safely from above. Pass the Holy Popcorn 🍿🍿🍿

I am convinced they believe that Trump IS the Antichrist and that's why they support him and will CONTINUE to support him. This DEATH CULT doesn't give a shit about the US or the planet or the billions of people and animals that would die in a nuclear war. It's the ultimate "I got mine, so fuck you".

Perhaps it's his handlers, but it takes some sort of intelligence to wreak this much havoc on the world.

and everything he does is about his comfort, his vision of himself in the world.
From what I have seen, you don't necessarily have to smart to be cunning.

Perhaps it is a special kind of repulsive intelligence.

My Google AI prompt says cunning is a

strategic application of intelligence, often with a focus on self-interest and potentially unethical methods.

As it happens, I was familiar with the concept of the "antichrist" and I have long wondered why people who are Bible bangers are so adept at missing that.

Of course, they do not - as Alan Watts noted decades ago - adhere to a religion of Christ, but rather a religion about Christ, and the Christ they're "about" has nothing to do at all with the teachings of Christ.

Their hypocrisy of course exposes - for me at least - how unlikely a "God" is, since a "God," if there was one would smoke them, for worshipping Trump one of the most venal and evil people ever to rise to power in the United States.

Not a Bible scholar here, but raised on this antichrist teachings in the King James version. That beast rising from the sea with seven heads and a name on them always fascinated me in a scary kind of way imaging it more like a Godzilla creature and now it's the Trump towers.
