(130,512 posts)Election offices in Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Utah, and Wisconsin confirmed to the AP that they received letters from the voting section requesting their statewide voter registration lists. At least one other, Oklahoma, received the request by phone.

Registered voters names and addresses are a matter of public record but the feds are asking for way more personal information than that including ss numbers, phone numbers, I am not sure why the election board would even have that information

Back then, the dictator wannabe had to scrap the idea when states refused to be DUPED into complying. This time, not so certain.
