Nice discussion about M$Greedia’s coverage of both.

Trump’ protests dwarf Tea Party but not the elites reactions

Breadth of Trump protests put some ReTHUGs on defense.

Nice chyrons

I've never heard of an organization low-balling attendance estimates at their own protests.

Another difference with the tea party is that the tea party was embraced by the R's, and the No Kings movement is not embraced by the Dems in the same way. I have come to feel that this is a strength, however. It will make it easier for Independents to join us!

I remember thinking Obama's presidency was like a light that shined so brightly it made the racists emerge from under their rocks.......then Trump inspired those roaches to be loud and proud of their racism........

by having a rapper on. They should give the show to Katie Phang and let Melber move to MTV.

I have no problem with most of his guests. His program is called The Beat.
Ari is a brilliant nerdy lawyer who maintains a healthy respect for his roots at the same high school (though years later) as Jimi Hendrix.
Bet he reaches the younger folks in ways many of M$Greedia’s hosts can’t.

Melber’s reach goes well beyond the dwindling number of people who watch cable television," wrote the Los Angeles Times in a 2023 profile, reporting The Beat's YouTube ratings were higher "than any other personality‘s at the network."[44] "The Beat" hit 1.5 billion total online views in 2024, and can average 700,000 views per day.[45]

Electing him the first time...terrible to them; but somehow a fluke?

Wherein people actually elected him again??!!!!
Well, we just "can't have that, can we?!".

I went to B Clinton's first Inaugural, and both of Obama's. Great events!
Obama's first one was soooo cold!

and I said out loud to myself in my kitchen word for word, "You, damn hypocrite!!! YOU did NOT report on any protests before they occurred. You are the pot calling the kettle black. This is why I stopped watching your Shitshow!!! Ari, between you and the BS hosts on CNN and MSNBC we activists can't stand to hear your lies. We activists on the ground have learned to never, ever expect any pre-protest announcements and NO reports after every and any anti'-tRump protest. Ari, did you mention Hands Off? NO! 5.2 million protested but you were silent both before and after the protests. YOU are OWNED by the MSM greedy, corporate million traitors. Stop ACTING and LYING!!!".

The only MSNBC host who even mentioned the April 5th Hands Off rallies in 1,400 cities was Rachel Maddow. PBS was the only MSM who reported it as well.

* I only listed to Ari today (who I have boycotted for about 3 years when I realized he is not worthy of my respect as a factual journalist and reporter) was due to the fact that I was cooking and my hands were full of oil and I didn't want to touch my remote control to change the channel, as I normally do.
