He doesn't know. He doesn't care. He's too bored to even pretend.

Yesterday trump was asked by a reporter about his new nominee for Surgeon General who is not a practicing physician and never completed her residency. He answered as he has been answering most questions lately, with a version of "I don't know."

He said he picked her because "Bobby" likes her , and he "doesn't know her." Just like he doesn't know if he has to respect due process or what the rate of tariffs should be with China, or if he has to FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION.

I have been seeing a version of this comment all over the internets, this one from Ken Tremendo on bluesky:"First reporter to say, You're the fucking President gets a book deal minimum."

He's more than earned that response. Will we ever see it?

O'Donnell is a great presenter and knows how to deliver his messages. Almost always it is the newsworthy content that impresses me rather than being entertained.

But I know what you meant - and agree.

There is NO DIFFERENCE in terms of a valid excuse for the words and actions of a US president.

Besides, it is a mistake to take this POtuS at his word. He might be that far gone mentally, or he may be lying to establish plausible deniability. Remember, HE LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING.
