Any WNC or East Tennessee

DU friends here get the Shake, rattle and roll experience around 9 AM this morning. 4.1 and my bed seemed to visibly vibrate, as well As my whole house, for 30+ seconds. Accompanied by a low level roaring sound.
Thought maybe God was fed up, and she was gonna bring it all down. Or the nukes had been let loose world wide, after Kegsbreath had an early morning “Watch this” drunken event thinking I can fix this Pakistan India spat.

Significant I have experienced. I think Murphy, near the Tenn/NC border was the epicenter. About 15 miles from me. I think earth is about ready to open up and consume us. Best way it will survive…….and thrive.

We had a comparable earthquake felt outside Knoxville. Toppled several tchotchkes from our bookcase including my ceramic French nuns.

Glue to the rescue!

But yes, the experience was unnerving.
