I am not particularly worried for myself - my citizenship goes back multiple generations on both sides of the family, and I'm white.

But I am worried about my adopted Afghan nephew and niece and their newborn child. I am worried about my professor's brown son who looks hispanic. I am worried about my high school sweetheart whose gender is not the same as her birthdate, and countless others.

If I, with my privilege, don't start caring and challenging, they will be gone (or, as to my high school sweetheart, confined to the US because her passport will be stripped from her).
