We have to accept that we are in a existential battle for our children and future generations.

There can be no compromise. Those Democrats that think they can work with Trump are sadly delusional. He will only use you as a political ploy or a prop. Just ask Gretchen Whitmer.

The sooner we dismiss these notions that we can work with these people, the better prepared we are to fight them with the energy required to win the battle, in my opinion.

We are always hopeful that the MAGA Republicans, at least some of them, will desert the regime and work with the Democrats to save our democracy and our institutions. It is a false hope. It is not going to happen.

We need to devote 100% focus on defeating them.

The other cooperating options are illusions.

child. As such they should not be entrusted with decisions better left to adults. These "children" have destroyed our country and have no concept of what they have done. I will always agree to ensure that they are fed and their health care needs are addressed, but as for my making any effort to get along, that is something I am not capable of doing.

When my husband was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, I was hired by the USMC to get new recruits up to a 6th grade reading level. Their training made reading a necessity. But illiteracy was a real problem. This was in the 70s. My students were from all over the country.

...and smeared it on the walls of the Capitol. Very few people of my acquaintance have ever done this, and they were in their cribs at the time. It's my opinion that the proudest moments in the lives of MAGA occur at the infantile level of shit-smearing.

6. We need another Vice Admiral Bertram Ramsay who planned Operation Dynamo

Operation Dynamo was the rescue operation implemented by the Royal Navy. It was co-ordinated by Vice Admiral Bertram Ramsay and his small team in Dover Castle.

Early in the Second World War, in late May 1940, the Allied forces of British, French and Belgian troops were trapped by the invading German army on the coast of France and Belgium, in the area around Dunkirk. The desperate and near-miraculous rescue that followed – controlled from Dover Castle – saved the Allied cause in Europe from total collapse, and was the biggest evacuation in military history. Find out the key facts about Operation Dynamo here.

Consider complicit in their support of Trump’s unqualified and downright ridiculous nominees. I really don’t know how you get out of this mess when your own side capitulates to this shit show of an administration..

... rehabilitate a psychopath, and that's what we're dealing with here. The MAGA Republican monster is beyond reason, devoid of empathy, and consumed with malice toward any and all who aren't loyal to their Chosen Idiot. Even as they lay dying after being thrown under the bus by Trump, they'll defend their misguided decision to support him. They'd carve their own eyes out with a rusty spoon before they'd ever admit that they'd made a mistake.

Remember, these are the people who gave us:

Richard Nixon
Spiro Agnew
Ronald Reagan
George W Bush
Dick Cheney
and Sarah Palin

They, quite specifically, want flaky, dishonest, racist, batshit crazy candidates.

Trump is not an aberration for them, he is their ideal.
