had dinner at a bar tonight, and there was a guy wearing sox gear.
when the won the world series, i was shocked to see how many came out of the woodwork. they just arent as loud & obnoxious about it as the cubs fans.

not much of a sports fan, but the ex was a lifelong sox fan. we were in a season ticket cabal, and i enjoyed it. nice park, good food, better beer than wrigley. much nicer fans.

This middle brother seems like he would have been a good family man. I feel a little sad that this did not happen for him, unless that was his preference.

Here's how Pope Leo XIV is connected to Creole history in New Orleans

Snip***

The first American Pope has a family history with deep ties to New Orleans.

According to New Orleans historian Jari Christopher Honora, Pope Leo has Creole roots on his mother's side.

His mother is Mildred Martinez. The Martinez family has a New Orleans history dating back to the 1800s. They lived in the Seventh Ward.

In 1910, the Martinez family left New Orleans and went to Chicago, where Prevost was born.

Prevost's mother was the first in her family who was not born in New Orleans.

If his father was born in Haiti wouldn't that make Pope Leo XIV and his brothers more Black? Or just because he was born in Haiti doesn't he was Black?

TY!

But I’d rather have a Sox fan stand up to this White House than a Cubs fan kiss up to it.
