So, Trump has a Bachelor's

Degree in Economics, University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School. Since he is rapidly reducing us to a third world country (no offense intended to up and coming young nations,) and since he is likely to cause an economic collapse sometime this year, or at least a recession, I imagine that he is an embarrassment to the College. I'd like to know the name of the Professor who taught him that other countries bear the costs of tariffs.

Anyhow, I got to thinking about this degree. Everyone usually thinks that once the degree is earned, it's yours. However, it can be revoked under the right circumstances. An earned degree is a lot harder to revoke than an honorary degree. If you commit academic crimes, lies, etc. while you are earning it, and they find out, you can have it revoked. It is a very rare thing. But, Mary Trump said that Donald paid someone to take his SAT, so that would be academic dishonesty, enough to revoke his degree if they want to investigate it. Cause you know, it seems like quite an embarrassment to their school, because this crap he's doing is more than a simple mistake. It is malicious.

He's had several honorary degrees revoked, after Jan. 6th occurred. That wasn't hard. Start an insurrection, and schools don't want to honor you anymore. Makes sense. I also think that the University of Pennsylvania has leverage against this crap he is visiting on other schools. The first thing I'd do is start the investigation to revoke his degree. Amirite?

If the Wharton School is proud to have an alumni who became President, and then a Dictator, then there is something wrong with them. They shouldn't let the likes of trump tear up their good reputation. But the ETTD doctrine is in effect, so maybe it's too late.

(The 99th ranked law school in America - 2025 ranking) should demand their diploma back from the 59 year old twice divorced Pam Bondi. Wasn’t there some shenanigans with trump, Bondi and trump university and stuff when she was Floridas AG? Ya know, stuff that would give an honorable institution like Stetson U. The impetus to distance themselves from such a disgraced alum.

3. Yes, it seems impossible that somebody as dishonest and dumb as Trump could get a degree without cheating.

in exchange for something. He is an idiot and unfocused to have carried out credit requirements.
I don’t believe shit for brains could pass any academic course as far as fulfilling the coursework requirements go.

A standard BA degree is borderline useless now without experience anyway... Obama didn't campaign on his degree... Reagan, Nixon, LBJ and JFK all had degrees from the 1930's prior to WW2 when a degree was a BIG deal and Nixon was the one of them with a law degree....Hillary never could pass the DC bar exam and neither did FDR, and yet FDR served four terms as POTUS.

MANY military officers in WW2 didn't have a degree and many of them were bomber and fighter pilots...Vietnam was similar.

A simple undergraduate degree is shamefully easy now...Many studious high school seniors already have 60 college credit hours upon HS graduation with advance placement classes.

His daddy paid good money for that honor. The filthy rich frat boy never worked for anything a day in his life.

and for the Gentleman's C that Donald got.

I never wanted to see his grades (or W Bush's, either). I want to see their attendance records. I assume they've been destroyed by now. I doubt either of them showed up in any meaningful way. They didn't have to, and why do anything if you don't have to?

11. As someone who has imported goods from China...

I can order 10,000 gizmos from China at $0.79

I pay the mfg $7900 plus the Ocean Freight (cheaper for them to book it than me)

When my container gets here, it's processed by CBP, sometimes they x-ray the container... sometimes open it for inspection...

When they decide to release the shipment they send me a bill.

It includes the Broker charges, warehousing, clean up fees, transport costs and yes...

Costs including Customs Fees and Tariffs.

So my shipment could easily be...

like 10-12k on a shipment that I paid 7900 for.

Absolutely brutal.

I haven't researched in depth, but I think he has a BS degree. I read that he transferred in from another school and got in on a "gentleman's handshake" from the admissions officer courtesy of his daddy. Hmmmm....he has really made the most of his degree, although he seems really stupid. I think the BS stands for bullshit, because the way he runs his mouth with fake numbers, lies and anything he can think of, it must be a degree in the art of bullshitting. He is kinda good at that.

15. If he got his degree from Wharton, it might have been an MBA

Although considering the cast of characters, that could stand for "Might Be Arbitrated."

The OP said BA, so I just fell in line. At Penn, to graduate with a degree in the Humanities, as I did, you needed to complete three successful semesters each in the natural sciences and the social sciences. For one semester of my social sciences, I took Economics 101, which was taught at the Wharton building on Locust Walk. My Prof was a very nice, cool guy, who, on the first day, said, "I will be your professor for this semester. My name is not "Professor," that is my profession. Please do not call me that. My name is Bill, so please call me that." We thought, how cool, this is going to be a fun course. He was a wonderful guy, but his course was tough as nails. I doubt Trump had him, or he would have been flunked out after the first exam.

at Wharton. Display your diploma with pride. I love to hear about actual "boots on the ground" experiences from those that know.

I'm pretty sure he has a BS from Wharton. He transferred after two years at Fordham. He was a special admission when the admissions officer was a classmate of his brother, Fred. So, he spent two years at Wharton, and graduated in 1968.

I'm not an elitist. But, I think since he used this to gain the Presidency, it is a legit inquiry. His first term he campaigned as a "brilliant businessman," which was hogwash, and this second term he promised to throw millions of nonwhite immigrants out, which panders to bigotry. He did promise a tariff war, which is going to bankrupt the nation. His DOGE under Musk is throwing thousands of people onto the street, unemployed. I can't see how that helps us. And, I am not an economist. But, I am afraid of a worldwide depression because of this heartless monster.

He's a lunatic, and will be bringing us a shooting war in the near future. If we somehow escape that, the very least we can expect is an economic recession.

Thank you for your post.

The stuff we can find on line, like the graduation ceremony booklet, suggest the entire graduating group was undergraduate students.
Also, the date is not consistent with him spending that extra 2 years.
