The spin, even now, is not working in swing states
like it used to.

I don't expect it to be that long when it doesn't even
work with some Magats.

It makes me wonder how many Walmart truck drivers will be laid off being that the National headquarters are in Bentonvile, Arkansas. A state that was pro-tRump 3 times and was denied disaster relief.

Many small town jobs and economies will be decimated by tRump's trade policies. Even the Dollar and Dollar General stores rely on imported merchandise from China and elsewhere. No merchandise to buy is going to piss off millions of people, as well as at inflated prices.

the Great Depression, is what I've been saying since he first started talking about enacting tariffs. I don't know why repugs think they know anything about economics... they can't think critically about anything, no matter how large or small the subject! But then, I really think all this is just to bring about the downfall of the country and the dollar. Replace the dollar with crypto currency that he, in turn, can point to his offshore bank accounts. 15. The difference today
Sat May 3, 2025, 10:56 PM

The difference today is that in the past 50 years when things got bad such as in Republican economic recessions, the government was there with help for the American people to get through those bad economic times. That isn't going to happen this time around. The Turd and the Mu$k DOGE Fascists have essentially dismantled the requisite governmental services sector which has historically provided that economic "safety net" for times of dire economic trouble. This time around, the Turd economic recession will be a lot like 1929 when there were few governmental agencies equipped to help out with the calamitous miseries which will be inflicted by the Turd's coming economic catastrophe.
