MTG Unleashes Laundry List of Complaints Against Trump Admin

Outspoken Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has sounded off against the Trump administration in a lengthy tirade on the social media site X.

“I represent the base and when I’m frustrated and upset over the direction of things, you better be clear, the base is not happy,” wrote Greene.

The post fired shots at the recent minerals deal with Ukraine, the handling of the war in Iraq, COVID-19 vaccines, and election integrity, saying the Trump administration has so far failed to address concerns that frustrate “the base.”

“I campaigned for no more foreign wars. And now we are supposedly on the verge of going to war with Iran,” she said. “I don’t think we should be bombing foreign countries on behalf of other foreign countries, especially when they have their own nuclear weapons and massive military strength.”

While Greene resisted criticizing Trump directly, it is yet another step in the increasing distance she seems to be placing between herself and the rest of the Republican party. In March, she described the Signal group chat leak as “incredibly sloppy,” while last month she attacked fellow House Republican Anna Paulina Luna for voting with the Democrats.

She was testing the waters on running for Governor or possibly Senate. Her polling across the state is not good.

I have family in her district. Large Hispanic population (carpet factories) but I don’t think they vote. Part of her district, Dade County, tried to secede before the rest of Georgia. They set a letter to Pres. Truman in 1945 saying they’d rejoined the Union. It was mostly symbolic but that’ll give you an idea.

She could care less about policy, etc.
The only thing she knows how to do is pull stunts.

She is probably angry Trump didn't put her in his cabinet or high level position.

As you know she’s so nuts the Freedom Caucus kicked her out. She’s back on Committees after having no seats for two years.

on her running against Senator Jon Ossoff don't look good for her. She is only at 37%. The only republican who has a chance of beating Ossoff is Governor Kemp who is at 50%. I personally don't think Kemp will run for Senate. He has his eyes on the presidential primary in 2028.
