...this is what we've got, 103 days in, and this is what we'll get for the remainder of time that Trump is in office.
He's the bully, the rotten kid who threw rocks at babies.
So far, in 103 days, I'd say there have been A MINIMUM OF 103 times Trump has trolled America, in his "press conferences" and on social media.
It's all he knows.
It's all we're gonna get.
I'm going to believe in the 2026 Midterms until I'm given a reason not to.
That's the only way out of this.

(19,441 posts)I'm not "offended," personally, as a matter of my faith.
I'm offended because the intention behind this was to offend.
This is exactly the kind of "message" that comes from someone who threw rocks at babies when he was a kid.
My standard line has always been "Trump respects NO ONE, including himself."
There is a WONDERFUL LINE in the Ray Liotta / Joe Mantegna / Don Cheadle "Rat Pack" movie. "May Britt" asks "Sammy Davis Jr" (Cheadle) WHY he PUTS UP WITH the cheap racist humor from Sinatra and Martin.
His response is something like "they don't mean it" or "they're just kidding," but Britt doesn't buy it.
Trump's not kidding, and neither are his goons. THE INTENTION IS TO OFFEND.

(18,635 posts)which is far, far worse, IMO, than the fact that people like Trump exist.
(note that even if there were some fraud in the election- it doesn't take away the people who allowed signs on their lawn for this p.o.s.)

(4,110 posts)The Catholic vote on Tuesday broke for former President Donald Trump by a large margin nationwide and within swing states in the 2024 presidential election, according to exit polls published by the Washington Post, the Associated Press, and NBC News.
According to the Washington Post’s exit poll, Trump won the national Catholic vote by a 15-point margin: 56% to 41%. This shows a much larger victory for Trump among Catholic voters than the Post’s 2020 exit polls, which showed Trump with only a five-point lead above President Joe Biden, 52% to 47%.
The shift represents a 10-point swing in favor of Trump from 2020 to 2024.
The Washington Post poll also found that 69% of voters who believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases voted for Harris, but Trump managed to win 28% of voters who held the same view.

(19,441 posts)1). Thank and praise them
2). Thoroughly humiliate them in public so they have no doubt as to "who is boss."
He JUST DID THIS with Musk...yesterday, maybe the day before.
PART TWO of the BROMANCE with Musk came when Trump made the statement
"But I know, now all of them, you know they all hated me in my first term, and now they’re kissing my ass. It’s true. All of them. It’s true..."
And because we KNOW that MUSK has an EXTREMELY oversized and fragile EGO...he's even more pathological in that area than Trump...we KNOW those words HIT him, and hit him HARD.
It was Trump's payback, his bitch slap, for all of the "PRESIDENT MUSK" remarks.
So the Catholic Church helped Trump, and his only recourse....because he's Trump...was to deliver THEIR bitch slap.
