He would have major trouble with that "have no other gods before me" sfuff. I'm surprised he hasn't tried to have that one removed from the Bible.

(11,864 posts)You can see the difference immediately.
He speaks slower now, he speaks in mostly a weak almost frail voice, except when he's angry. His vocabulary is noticably diminished. He stumbles over words much more often. He leaves sentences hanging more often. He speaks in fragmented sentences much more often.
Plus he blatantly lies and makes up crap in about every 5th sentence, or sentence fragment. Before he would at least get the basic facts correct.
And he lies just about everything. Before he use to lie just about crap that made him look good or bad. Now he lives in fantasy land where just about every idea that is able to escape his empty head is not true.
Because Trump is usually angry, rude and mean people think he's strong. But the man is cookoo for coco puffs. He intimidates with his nastiness and people are afraid to question him.

(21,141 posts)Reminds me of when he called the Battle of Gettysburg beautiful. No, Donald, that battle was anything but beautiful. It was a freaking 3 day blood bath in which between 46,000 and 51,000 soldiers from both armies were casualties, the most costly in US history. Idiot. Nice try, peabrain.

(21,141 posts)A person who freely admits they don't know everything and shows a willingness to learn can be educated. Because of his extreme narcissism, Trump is impervious to being educated. His fragile ego dictates that he ALWAYS has to be right, and those around him have to at least pretend that he is always right or else they are ejected from his presence (as all those he fired during his first administration found out, and many more will learn the hard way in this administration).
In short, his ignorance is a serious problem, and his narcissism makes it an insurmountable one. The irony is that things he does to cover his insecurity, such as bragging about how "smart" he is, refusing to take advice, and pretending he knows things he doesn't know, just make him look even more stupid than admitting the limits of his knowledge would.

Boehner mixes up Constitution and Declaration
By MARTIN KADY II
11/05/2009 02:29 PM EST
House Minority Leader John Boehner was fired up and ready to go at the Tea Party rally today.
He even held up his pocket copy of the Constitution, pledging to "stand here with our Founding Fathers, who wrote in the pre-amble: 'We hold these truths to be self evident ..."
Right, Bonehead, except that your quote was from the Declaration of Independence of 1776, not the pre-amble to the Constitution from 1787. Republican "patriots" like to wave the flag a lot, but knowing what it actually stands for, to them, is above and beyond the call of duty.
