Not exactly doing a good job, but the Trump administration looked like idiots on this (and frankly everything else), but this was a big flashy move and it blew up in hours. It's Sean Spicer trying desperately to keep up the lie about Trump's 2016 inauguration having the biggest audience when obviously it didn't and losing credibility immediately. Unfortunately for Leavitt the emperor has no clothes and so she has no credibility.
