Been watching old reruns of
Highway to Heaven
Many of the episodes are same or similar issues we are facing today
(although I’ve noticed other older shows seem to also air similar ones regarding )
Discrimination, Racism, religion interference in schools, nazi’s
( haven’t seen in yet that they was worried that the president would be a dictator or they and or congress would sell out our country to Russia)
One today had to do with freedom of the press
It ended with the quote about 1st amendment
First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Then at the end Michael Landon quote
“Abuse the first amendment, and you destroy it”
That is exactly what the Republicans and T is doing
