We can’t survive four full years of this monster. We have to be chipping away at his power and positioning - 24/7/365, relentlessly, with everything we’ve got.

He seems hellbent on destroying our government. We CANNOT allow that.

This news is a very minor win. But the majority of voters across Iowa (and countless other midwestern states) are too Dunning-Kruger and too religinutty and too gun-nutty and too easily swung by RW BS to ever "get straight" and learn to vote for proper government and beneficial policies.

Trump could fuck everyone so bad, trumps threats of primaries and all the money he gets thrown at him by the billionaires would be useless. And anybody he supports or supports him would be DIW with starving sharks everywhere. Then some noodle spine repukes can say enough of his shit, not gonna let my children’s future burn to the ground and join Dems to impeach his ass to hell.
Gotta have dreams!

It’ll be great for good news for people can just go there and look for good news on things like what you just posted or we can even post personal good news.

Zimmer, a retired teacher and coach, is president of the Central DeWitt School Board. Zimmer said since it was a special election, the race had the full attention of Iowa Democrats.

“We had people making phone calls, writing postcards, coming over and helping knock doors — everything that you have to have to have a winning campaign,” Zimmer said. “I was just blessed to have all of that.”

that agrees, but I'm that person. I do not believe the results of this last election and with Musk writing the codes on starlink, I can't help myself. I really don't think he won the election, especially ALL of the swing states. I don't believe it.

It’s not hard to imagine today’s GOP purging a few million votes to tip the balance in Dump’s favor

My first thought - they used Starlink during the general presidential election to upload tabulations from tabulators in precincts everywhere. Dump himself said during the campaign, “We don’t even need your votes, we have all we need.” No msm that I saw said a word about those expressions from a proven thug who would fix an election as quick as he’d down a big mac. But they are billionaire owned so what do we expect.

Then he bragged the other day about “Elon knows those voting machines, all about them, blah blah..”. So he knew he had the software wired to flip votes however they wanted. And probably this is where they decided to give all swing states to Dump; just as a big FU to the libs, just because they could…. And apparently there’s no one on our side who has the savvy to expose the steal because here we fucking are.

Political professors from two of the major universities in the state were commenting. Their take-away about it was that it's a win, but maybe not a lot can be projected from it, mainly because there was only a 24% turnout. Significantly, he campaigned on the key issues in Iowa of education and the economy.
