Wonder Why

My local Lowes store removed all the Spanish language aisle signs.

Went into local Lowes and my wife noticed that all the signs pointing out what was in that aisle which used to be in English with smaller letters in Spanish had the Spanish removed. Signs just have English.

They actually spent money to replace he signs to remove the Spanish, not just deciding not to put up any new ones that only had English.

Guess it was because The Thing landed at nearby Asheville Airport this morning.

Must be a fallout from the anti DEI stance Lowe’s adopted.

would it take them to learn Spanish? They think whereever an immigrant comes from they
should know English immediately. When I growing up in the upper Ohio valley in steel and coal
country I remember hearing people talking Polish. German, Italian ect. on the street. A friend of mine
said his parents always spoke Greek at home. Most Eurpeans speak their native language and at least
some English today, Not many Americans know another language.
