Gonna be one of those days.
Got up early.
Spouse was upstairs taking a shower.
I was downstairs having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast.
Morning Joe was on the TV, but I wasn't watching it.
Spouse comes downstairs and gives me the hairy eyeball because I'm eating a peanut butter sandwich at 630 AM.
Spouse then flips off the TV with both middle fingers so hard that I thought she was going to throw out a hip.
I retreated upstairs, quietly.
Spouse comes up to tell me that while she slept last night, she received a text from a neighbor a little after 1000 PM:
ARE YOU AWAKE??
Spouse calls neighbor this morning.
OH MY FUCKING GOD I HAVE NOT WATCHED THE NEWS SINCE THE ELECTION AND I WATCHED RACHEL MADDOW LAST NIGHT DID YOU KNOW ALL OF THIS SHIT WAS GOING ON WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ASSHOLE DOING HE'S GOING TO FUCKING KILL US I WANTED TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT IT LAST NIGHT I HOPE I DIDN'T TEXT YOU TOO LATE OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN...
