Since you must be at least remotely qualified to diagnose people with mental illness (is autism considered an illness, first) to put this out there I have a question.

Is it that his autism (assuming your diagnosis is correct) renders him incapable of expressing the emotions the site evokes or does he not feel those emotions in the first place?

Autism is a developmental disability.

People on the spectrum often exhibit behavioral similarities with sociopaths like not understanding social cues, being able to form emotional connections with others, and demonsyrating appropriate social behavior in general. The difference of course is the underlying motivation.

how much difference does it make which it is? As people suffer and die from Musk's intentions and actions, will they be soothed if we tell them it is autism and not sociopathy?

Incidentally, the well-published writer you dismiss so readily did not “diagnose autism” as you said but said his behavior was sociopathic.

Why do you have such a hard-on to defend this monster? Do you really think you are going to do anything more than piss people off? If he has autism, guess what? He is an evil prick with autism. Being blind to disabilities also means you can see them for being the asshole they naturally are. Having a disability is not an excuse, a pass, or anything else that lets you get away with terrorizing others with your obnoxious behavior.

That's a hot take.

He has not been diagnosed with autism and he's a billionaire, so I assume he could find out pretty easily with minimal cost for him.

And even if he does have autism, that doesn't mean he gets to be an a fucking asshole. My qualifications for that? I have taught probably nearly 100 kids that are actually diagnosed with autism in my teaching career. Don't give this fucker a pass.

But Elon also said at least as far back as 2016 Tesla cars would be able to drive across the country on their own within a year. Elon Musk claimed Democrats are importing illegal voters who he said weren't prevented from voting in federal elections. He's not a reliable source, unless you assume that everything out of his mouth is a lie, in which case, he's reliable.

Pretty sure this writer didn't say a thing about autism in the excerpt. But you made up the claim that she did

Please don't make up shit. She did not make the claim in the excerpt that you so strongly imply she made.

If you are referring to something not evidence or outside of the thread, then it is incumbent on you to explain it with reference to a reliable reputable link when you make a contentious claim.

The background is the story that Muck claimed he is autistic or on the spectrum. That he claimed it is not in dispute. Whether or not he is on the spectrum is not the issue What is in front of us is your direct imputation that she diagnosed him as on it or off it. She did no such thing.
