Lawsuits? Pushback? Injunctions?

Already there are lawsuits and push back happening against it and its agenda. Judge shop (hey, it worked for the magats). Keep it up, we need to use whatever tools we can find to stop it in its tracks.
Good to see some in the dem party finally bringing knives and guns to knife and gun fights. The time for reaching out, being nice, and being tolerant of those in what used to be the republic party is long over and done with.

Some of the most visible pushback so far has come from, of all places, the churches. Ocelot II Thursday #2

I see no Democratic leader taking charge. It is going to take a movement. Taylor swift wasn't brave enough to lead it.

Someone like Bishop Budde is brave enough. The religious community can lead a movement to stop Trump.

One denomination has already stated it would be a sanctuary for immigrants. Numerous Catholic dioceses in California have stated they will be sanctuaries for immigrants.

It takes a movement to cast out billionaires.

Bishop Budde's sermon (and Trump's spiteful reaction) is getting a lot of exposure, and the Catholic church is particularly vocal in its opposition to the mass deportation plans. We often forget that evangelicals are a minority among Christians (they are just the loudest and meanest), and mainstream churches still have a lot of influence.

Some other interesting pushback has come from several federal judges who have expressed their outrage over the 1/6 pardons in their orders for dismissal.

I also note that women seem to be at the forefront of the resistance, e.g., Bishop Budde, the three federal judges, and the most outspoken members of Congress - AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Elizabeth Warren. And let's not forget the MAGA Grandma who rejected her pardon, acknowledging that she was wrong to participate and didn't want to be a part of the whitewash.

A movement is needed to bring Trump and his billionaires down.

I was hoping that pre-election, Taylor Swift would lead a movement of young voters to the polls, but she wasn't brave enough, understandably so.

The religious community can lead a movement and Magats threatening religious leaders, Magats taking on religion is a losing proposition.

Trump could put out a Tweet before and his goons would threaten violence or commit violence against anyone Trump chose.

For the first time in a long time I am cautiously hopeful that religion may be our savior. There are no Democrats leading a movement, they just voted down AOC, my Senator. John Fetterman, was a co-sponsor of an anti-immigrant bill that passed Congress.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.
