Morning everyone.... so hypothetically......

if someone was going to do a blood test for a physical soon...

but a couple hours before the test....

they went to Sheetz and ate a meatball sub and 2 chicken tenders....

and some yummy chocolate donuts....

hypothetically of course....

.... not a good thing?... but they didnt know better?

It happens. I've forgotten and eaten late at night and ended up rescheduling the blood draw...I've also had ones where I didn't eat at all for the day before and it also screws up the blood work.

i blasted the test with a whole days worth of sodium and calories and sugars all at once.

the numbers came back really crazy lol

gonna do it right next time lol

If you are afraid of the test because of the food you ate, change your diet, not the test. Seems obvious.

Unless that meal was way out of your normal healthy diet. In which case reschedule. But if it is not uncommon for you to eat like that, go to the test and change your diet.

Dietary changes should not be dramatic or sudden but gradual. The goal is establishing long term healthy habits, so ease into it for sustainability.

ive rescheduled the blood draw and my dumbass didnt know not to eat right before the test.
