Farmer workers who are undocumented immigrants are the new generation

of The Grapes of Wrath. In the 1930's, "Okies" were the migrants who were barely surviving as tenant farmers, forced off their land to find work in California, where their existence faced several threats. They were used and then thrown away.

Now both family and commercial farmers cry "Woe!" because the man they voted for is placing them without workers and in potential bankruptcy.

And the entire country will suffer as well as the farm workers.

These immigrant farm workers, even if undocumented, have a lot more in common with regular Americans than the billionaires who are running our federal government do.
