Barron Trump is the latest family member pitching in on his dad’s presidential bid, and that role is helping Donald Trump inject some youthful toxicity into his campaign as it struggles to combat Kamala Harris’ momentum with young voters.

Last month, the elder Trump participated in an awkward video stream with controversial Kick streamer Adin Ross in his quest to woo young voters. At the time, the former president suggested that Barron was the one who first told him about Ross, telling the streamer that his 18-year-old son is "a big fan of yours."
was unmoderated

Ross has used his popular platform to promote people like white supremacist Nick Fuentes, and he was banned from Twitch for “hateful conduct” after his stream featured an unmoderated chat filled with racial slurs posted by Twitch users.

Trump says it was his son Barron who pushed him to do unhinged interview with right-wing streamer Adin Ross

The Independent

Donald Trump’s teenage son, Barron, seemingly influenced the former president to pursue an interview with his “friend” and right-wing online streamer Adin Ross. In a roughly hour-long interview with Ross, that was streamed on Monday, Trump told the 23-year-old that his son was “a big fan” and told him landing an interview with Ross was ‘big’.

“My son Barron says ‘hello’. He’s a great young guy but he’s a big fan of yours,” the former president said at the start of the live-streamed interview.

Ross is popular with young men – particularly with the demographic Barron, 18, belongs. Ross rose to fame initially streaming himself playing video games online but has also dabbled in giving controversial individuals, such as white supremacist Nick Fuentes, airtime on his platform.

“Barron says, ‘Dad he’s really big’ he said ‘he’s also a friend of mine’” Trump told Ross while admiring the size of the streamer’s auidence.

37. Don't Underestimate Barron Trump

Time reports that a hotshot political consultant, Alex Bruesewitz, came up with a podcast plan in July but was told by Trump to consult with Barron first. When Bruesewitz approached Trump with a list of podcasts he thought the then-candidate should appear on, he was reportedly told, “Have you talked this over with Barron?” When Bruesewitz said no, Trump told him, “Call Barron and see what he thinks and let me know.”
The next month, Adin Ross was at Mar-a-Lago livestreaming with Trump. Ross is a popular streamer known for playing NBA 2K with celebrities, interviewing Andrew Tate (and sniffing his chair afterward), and hosting white supremacist Nick Fuentes on his stream. He was banned from Twitch in 2023 for his use of “hateful slurs or symbols” and “hateful conduct” and now streams on the platform Kick.

“My son Barron says hello. He’s a great young guy, but he’s a big fan of yours,” Trump told Ross at the start of their interview. Later, as Trump admired the size of Ross’s audience (their stream reached 580,000 viewers at its peak), he told the streamer, “Barron says, ‘Dad he’s really big,’ he said. ‘He’s also a friend of mine.’”

A few weeks later, Trump appeared on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, where he told the comedian, “Your thing is going really great. My son’s a big fan of yours."
SNIP----
Barron isn’t the only teenage boy Trump appeared to listen to. Bo Loudon, Barron’s best friend and the son of former Women for Trump co-chair Gina Loudon, also lent his advice. Loudon appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored in October, where the host described him as “the driving force behind Donald Trump’s podcast offensive.”

Off topic but related - Snoop Dogg played himself and looks like a damn clown - he took a pic standing beside Bo Loudon at the Crypto ball, with Bo wearing his MAGA hat. Bo posted that pic online with caption welcoming Snoop to MAGA.

I'm a retired Special Ed teacher and I think he is on the spectrum too. Being 18 is different for every kid.
My oldest is so different from my youngest. One is extremely independent and has carved her own way into a good career and my other one is still finding her way. ( she has ADHD and dyscalculia)

"Dyscalculia is a learning disability that makes it difficult to understand numbers and do math. It's characterized by challenges with arithmetic, such as remembering number facts, performing calculations, and understanding place value.

is it like a numbers form of dyslexia? I've always thought everyone learns differently, but some people are true outliers - they can learn, but need a different method.......

It's in the "dys" family. Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia. My daughter has problems with math word problems and comprehension, but she tested off the charts in grammar and spelling. She says she's "on the spectrum" and could care less what people say. She just learns differently. ( I know it used to bother her

At my lowest point, and the last time my parents tried to rescue me after I'd punched my dad in the face and fled, I was living in my broken car in a church parking lot, taking a mandatory time-out under threat of expulsion from college, and eating food from dumpsters.

I don't think Baron is ever going to have those sorts of problems or have any sort of empathy for those who do. At this point in his life he's still just a tool for his narcissistic parents. Nothing is gained by mocking him, it's unseemly.
