I see Steve Bannon's grubby paws all over the current plague of EOs. His aim for a long time has been to 'deconstruct the administrative state'.
When you think about it, why do you need the senate and the house in Congress? All those superfluous salaries, staffers, office space.... Trump can govern by the issuance of EOs for just about anything - no need for a pesky Congress. Is this the plan of the DOGE?
I have no answers, only questions.
