Good map. One thing it doesnt capture, though. It doesnt really give a sense of how this funding ripples through the US as a whole. It also doesnt capture the steady increases in QoL and SoL the NIH has provided over the time it has been in operation.
The next time a dumbassed MAGAt makes a tired flippant quip about basic research. Im going to backhand them across the room.
