Going After Federal "DEI Hires"

I have heard from friends who are still Federal employees that a notice went out to all Federal employees at 4:45 today stating that all DEI initiatives had been canceled. Also, if they knew of any contracts written to possibly hide DEI initiatives or "DEI hires (read trans people)", they were to report them to a hotline within 10 days. If they don't report it, and it's discovered that they knew about it, then they will face a penalty. This is some Stalinist shit right there.

A friend-of-a-friend is a transwoman who had a position in an agency written for her specific skill set. My friend is worried that her friend will be fired.

Anyone NOT male, hetero (or at least closeted), white (or at least apologetic), and "Christian" in quotes -- even 2 out of four can suffice -- is "DEI."

That means the person didn't get to whatever position, degree, or rank they achieved by being BETTER, smarter, more self-disciplined than the above counterparts, and then being courageous, ambitious, and strong enough to withstand their backlash and constant harassment.

Once having reached their goal, they get the charge of "DEI" thrown in their faces.

Well, there would BE no need to work on diversity, equity, and inclusion if our country didn't keep excluding everybody who isn't a white hetero man!!!

I was only using this as one example. I spent 34 years in the Federal civilian employment system. I know all about mediocre white men complaining about "affirmative action" and other perceived problems.

I don't always tell this story. I remember in the early post-9/11 days, when we all made a sharp lurch towards doing counter-terrorism. I was in a meeting with representatives from my agency and other three-letter ones. Basically, it was 12 college-educated white people and one college-educated black person sitting around a table trying to figure out how people get radicalized. I spoke up and said that they needed to get out of their bubbles and talk to some of the gangbangers in the poorer parts of Northern Virginia. Because we're dealing with the same type of problem. They looked at me like I'd grown a second head.
