Serious question

We're going to need to pace ourselves given the firehose of outrage. He's doing what he said he would; no one should be surprised, certainly not anyone on this board.

I am trying to find resources to stay abreast of actions his administration is taking, and it's going to be overwhelming. I don't say this as a complaint or critique but more of an observation: General Discussion nowadays seems to blur stuff that used to be in the Lounge, Late Breaking News, etc. Given the number of WTF?! posts, which are understandable, it's hard to get to the kind of news I used to be able to find here.

LBN doesn't have as many people posting there, so GD still seems to be where news is posted. I know EarlG wisely created a new forum to post Trump's WTF type daily activities, not admin-related stuff.

Do you know of journalists covering specific aspects of the daily travesties? Immigration, DOGE, health, education, etc? Legacy news outlets are iffy AF now.

How are you planning to keep up with the daily onslaught? I don't want to be immersed in outrage but do want to stay informed.

TIA.

of the shitshow or is she (so far) doing a deep dive on one thing? I haven’t watched anyone in ages but was glad to hear she is back.

The Guardian is excellent! I should peruse all sections and see who is covering what. Same with ProPublica.
