Sticking to their DEI policy Costco is risking the wrath of Donald Trump

Costco is defying Donald Trump and conservative activists by sticking to its DEI policies

The president-elect and his incoming administration have railed against diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, claiming they are unfair and distracting.

'I think there is a definite anti-white feeling in this country and that can't be allowed,' Last summer, Trump said last summer in an interview with Time.

Meanwhile, vocal figures on social media, like Robby Starbuck, have also pushed for boycotts of so-called 'woke' companies. It has forced the likes of John Deere, Walmart and Ford to scale back or ditch their commitments.

I was in Costco yesterday and it was quite busy. All I can say is Donny go fuck yourself.

I’m a regular Costco customer, usually twice a month. The Costco I shop at is always busy, regardless of the day or time. I don’t think anyone is going to stop shopping there because of their DEI policies!

customers. They order so much stuff and always have it delivered. I might check to see if we have that option where I live. (We are in somewhat of a rural area).

before the Orange Monolith. I hope the media doesn't make too big a deal about it and set up a situation where they provoke a confrontation between Costco and the White House (unless Costco seeks this publicity). If I were a responsible journalist, now that Costco has made its decision I would not write more stories about it--just begging to see conflict.
