Bank failures coming?

High on the list for the Project 2025 is to get rid of the FDIC. A merger then cutting the insured amount of deposits, perhaps to zero insured.
I saw an article that said you might think about putting your money into Credit Unions. They aren't insured under the FDIC.
That would be great for credit unions, could be really bad for small to middle sized banks.
There could be a run on deposits to a safer haven.
