(2,127 posts)the only one who noticed that this video started mid-sentence? Seriously, we have to stop falling for this bullshit.
If I hear the entire statement and this is in proper context, I'll apologize. But I very seriously doubt that it is.

This is legit and he's made no secret of what hes said. The only question is whether he means it or hes just trolling.

(102,389 posts)".. deport a lot of people", and then proceeds to the quoted "kids". So I have no idea why you'd mispresent that as "mid-sentence". That was, in your words, "bullshit", and none of us are falling for your bullshit.
But if you want context - Davis himself tweeted it as "Fact check: true".

(5 posts)In ()'s is the margin by which the group voted for Harris over Trump in 2024:
Latino overall (+6%). by 52% to 46%.
In the 2020 election it was 36% Biden over Trump
Back to 2024:
Latino men (-12%), by 43% to 55%
Latino women (+22%), by 60% to 38%
While I'm at it, for comparison, the white (& non-Latino) demographic
White overall: (-16%)
White men: (-23%)
White women: (-8%)
And,
Black overall: (+72%)
Black men: (+56%)
Black women: (+84%)
===========================================
There's misinformation being spread (I don't think intentionally) that 55% of Latinos voted for Trump. That's not true, what's true (per the exit poll anyway linked to at the top of this post) is that 55% of Latino MEN voted for Trump.
