Should Sotomayor consider retirement while Biden is still president?

With the Ginsberg vacancy, we saw that the Senate can act quickly when it wants to.

I think she should give the idea serious consideration, losing her seat would be catastrophic.

There is a strong chance that Alito and Thomas retire with Trump back in office, replacing them with young right wingers.

We can’t afford to give him another seat from our side.

Jackson and Biden’s new nominee could fight through some dark times, and be prepared to lead the Court when a progressive majority finally emerges.

Far too late for that. Don’t have time to get another person approved before end of his administration, plus republicans would block any nominee.
