It's about shoving it down their throats

We all know the next years will be hell and will get worse, much worse. I think we don't even fathom just how horrible it will be nor do we know for how long it will be horrible.

The only consolation I have is that the goddam MAGAts will be suffering along with us, many of them will be suffering much worse, especially those in the lower income brackets who will be destroyed by rising prices for everything -- food, fuel, housing, you name it.

So -- my advice to everyone is to keep your eyes on the MAGAts around you and those in your family. When they start pissing and moaning about the price of everything going up, when they lose their jobs because of a Trump policy, remind them that Trump is President, that Trump's policies are to blame, give them examples -- tariffs come to mind -- and tell them "IT'S YOUR OWN GODDAM FAULT, YOU IGNORANT ASSHOLE!! YOU VOTED FOR HIM, I TRIED TO TELL YOU, YOU REFUSED TO LISTEN, NOW GO FUCK YOURSELF!!" I have some family members already in mind who are the first on my shitlist.

And, no, I have no more milk of human kindness and no more Christian charity.

The shit that's about to come down will affect them more than anyone, and yet, they couldn't get their lazy asses to the polls to vote. This happens time after time. It's why we're in the place we are, especially now, when it was so clear what they voted for by not voting.

I know my words do not apply to the younger folks here on DU, but as far as the lazy asses who sat home, I've had it with them. If they don't care enough about their future to vote, then fuck 'em and the long-term consequences of their apathy.

Check eggs and gas prices. Next time we’re out.

AND keep track of where they both go. Up or down? And how do we make use of that, to OUR benefit and his and Repubs’ detriment?

At 75 years old, I'm taking care of me first and foremost. I had a sister and two neighbors already tell me that they refuse to watch any news and are thankful for streaming services. I will be streaming PBS or Netflix. I value my emotional and physical health and we've already seen how "it" being in office brought on a huge increase in mental health problems in our country last time.

They'll invent stories and blame the Biden economy that they inherited.

They didn't listen to our warnings before the election. They will not listen to our explanations in the future.

demand 100% back of the taxes we send to the US Treasury. I'm sick and tired of subsidizing red states who constantly trash us. In fact, should demand 120% back to make up 40 years of subsidizing.

Sow unkindness, get it back. That doesn't mean I don't sometimes get tempted. But I've lived too long to find it worth it. Extrapolate that to our society and I shudder to think about the results.

Wait till they find out how much the rest of the chicken costs after trump deports most of the people who work at the packing plants.

Not to mention tariffs, and what do you mean there's no more ACA, but my kid has polio!

Maybe I'll say something. Probably, I'll just smile and walk away.
