51% of Americans DID NOT vote for the felon

64.54 percent of the 245,741,673 eligible had cast ballots for a total of 158,549,000.

So he won 51% of 64.54% of eligible voters.

That is 32% of eligible voters voted for the felon.

That's it 32%. So when you think about it, we don't have to peel of ANYONE from the felon, we need to find ways to engage some of the rest.

People who stayed home and didn't vote have no say, no influence, and no impact on the race, beyond perhaps helping Trump win. Even that is arguable, because we don't know how they would split, beyond polls of all adults that showed it about 50/50.

Are they dormant Maga who will only vote if we wake them up? Are they alienated? Etc. I say study the non-voters and see why. They may vote red more than Blue.

They tend to split about the way voters do. Pew and Gallup often provide data on all voters.

Harris is at 68.1 million and will get another few million from CA.

Biden got 81.2 million votes in 2020.

Trump is at 72.8 million and will get another couple million from CA.

Trump got 74.2 million votes in 2020.

Trump will probably exceed his 2020 total. Harris will probably fall 7-8 million short of Biden's 2020 total.

One has a right to vote in this country (for the most part). If one chooses not to vote, they don't register an opinion either way. It can't just be argued that they all voted against Trump by proxy. In fact, since everyone knows the threat Trump represents, the exact opposite could be argued. Their decision to stay home helped enable Trump to win.

Neither is really true. Those of us who voted represent those who did not, simply because they didn't bother. The same applies to our elected representatives. They represent everyone, not just those who bothered to show up.

Polls of all registered voters - and of all adults and not just voters - usually show the nation at roughly 50/50*, when leaners are included. Just because 1/3 didn't show up doesn't mean that they don't have an opinion. If you're arguing that only 1/3 of the country "really" supports Trump, that assertion is false.

Also wasn't mail-in and early voting up on both sides? What am I missing? Did that many people ask for mail-in and not send them in? And did that many people register only to not vote? Was it only the Democrats that failed to show up in the numbers expected? Why not?

The final numbers do not match the energy and excitement on the Dem side. It just doesn't feel right that so many did not follow through on voting. And tell me if I read the final data thus far incorrectly. The down turn in was mostly in the heaviest blue wall states of PA, WI, in addition to GA?
I'm just trying to wrap my head around the numbers coming out today. The numbers I find most unbelievable are PA in the Philly and surrounding areas.

Help me out
