Watch old movies it helps me with stress.

I have been watching old movies. I like comedies the best. It's my go to for stress. There are 2 on Prime. 1. Holliday with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. It was made in 1938. 2. Born Yesterday with Judy Holliday and William Holden. There is a scene where they talk about selfishness and fascism. Corelation between today and the story. The movie was made in 1950.
From the 1938, 1950 to today. What a complete turn around. But they show that the danger has been lying here in wait.

They show how things have changed and how they have not. It is a history lesson sometimes. I learn a lot from old films. Often I end up researching all sorts of info related to it and it takes me 3 hours to watch. I wish I had taken more film classes in art school.

Some of it is still over my head because I'm not british, and because I'm watching the really early stuff from 1969 through 74 and I was born in 70 so I might not understand all the politics. But some of it is just hilarious and stupid and I need that right now
