I work in mental health and it was rough work day today. I am so glad I only had a few clients today.

One of my hardest days ever at work. I didn't have to work the day after Hillary's loss. I stayed home and ate my feelings. I wasn't able to do that today.

Almost everyone I saw today, their session went way over their allotted time. I didn't even bill for the extra time.
I know the hurt is still fresh, and will be here for a while.
What I heard from some of the young women, they definitely will not be having children.
Too scared for their lives, or don't want to bring children into the world to live in an oppressive society.

I don't know what the future looks like for mental health if the ACA is gutted. It is already under tremendous strain. The ACA requires most plans to cover mental health.

many people who could benefit from mental health treatment. There is stigma attached to it.
Never be ashamed to seek help there are professionals out there who are trained and can help.

I think more people will be struggling with mental health issues in the future seek help.

I worked in a state mental institute for almost ten years and those involved in direct care and treatment are amazing people.

The "regular" folks I have not been able to avoid are desperately in need of grief-counseling. Including me!

If I can’t get my meds …. If I have to deal with massive stress like my SSI cut and losing my home etc. and being hated for being trans, as outlined in 2025. I will have stress driven psychosis again.

And if I can’t get help I will die. Because when the stress psychosis comes nothing makes sense and my brain gets taken over, the world changes in my eyes it’s not good,
I will need help doing things like managing my diabetes.
