At least he's been running the country for 8 years. Now it will be 12. We will NEVER get rid of him. This country will never recover.

Don't get me started on the hopelessness that is Texas.

It's been a rough year and I really don't know if I have another presidential election in my future. I think I've depleted all my "hope" resources. What happened yesterday was unthinkable and I can't see a way out of this nightmare.

I say that knowing that usually I can see a bigger picture and an optimistic path to a better outcome. I am quite confident that things will get much worse before they get better regardless of what we do and the worst part is feeling so totally helpless.

Like I said, this has been a rough year and I fought to stay alive to witness this nightmare.

I remember them both in hysterics ridiculing Obama and Democrats in general back in the day on their Comedy Central show.. They are mean-spirited, hack entertainers, at best.

It's like people who worship Oprah. WTF? She's an opportunist who made a fortune (and good for her on that, by the way!) but also gave us DR. OZ (you know, who almost won a Trump-approved Senate seat a couple of years back) and Dr. Phil among others.

Why do people so easily fall for con men? (And con women?) It's a major reason we lost.

Okay, my vitriol aside, what, specifically, is it about Jon Stewart which make him so special and influential? I'd like to be enlightened.

In this case, he appealed to me by giving a positive message and encouragement when I felt like shit.

But I'm afraid you also contributed to all of this. Your attacks on Joe Biden did not help. Biden helped to created the strongest economy in the world and brought about more progressive change than any president in my lifetime, yet all you did was attack him with your lazy, lame ageism jokes.

I used to love Jon Stewart and The Daily Show, but I won't watch that show anymore. Same with Stephen Colbert. The same old crappy, stale ageism jokes contributed to the situation we're in now. Some jokes cross the line for me. How far will you go to get a damn laugh? Assholes.
