He is a disgusting old man. When I was young and worked in New York City, I met , during the course of business many guys just like Trump. They had no problem making a pass at me anytime they wanted. Trump was the same low life as these CO's. All thought they were the greatest and the most desireable of men. Meanwhile they were really the most abominable and disgusting.

But basically yes. I plan to pay attention sporadically rather than obsessively though.
Gotta stay sane and focus..I have to work.

I’ll grieve… then rise.
I’ll reach out to the people I know, I’ll work on staying connected…then organize.

I've decided to cut a few people out of my life that would vote to burn the country to the ground rather than sit next to the likes of me (the enemy within). That gives me more time to fight for what is right. However, I am less optimistic for the end of my lifetime than I've ever been.

I believe we should organize, organize and organize! think we should get our younger people to run for local
State Legislatures. Maybe we could stop the gerrymandering . Rebubs can’t win without gerrymandering.
Let’s F ing go!

Someone tell me how. Who do you fight when this country is soon going to be populated with goons who are waiting to put anyone, any reporter, any protester in prison without charge or trial? What will happen to your 20 year old son who marches against the new government? Who is going to write that letter to the editor or that oped piece? What paper will even print them? And do you think DU will be here in a year?

Trump just enabled them to emerge from under their rocks. We stand up and fight them, no matter what. I am 76. My husbands 80. We will not stop fighting.

I made 2 donations, not large ones to the Harris campaign. After receiving at least 100 or more requests for
$$, I started to get angry. THe meager well ran dry.

We all know that a presidential campaign is expensive but not if you have billionaires and Russia behind you,
There is not much I can do but if you have an idea for an old lady, let me know. I admire your perseverance. I have no more left to give.

Because he will definitely shut up all his opponents on penalty of prison, deportation, treason, and/or their lives. He personally won't do it, but his deputies will. There will be only a neutered DOJ and ACLU to defend you in a MAGA court.

It's not cowardice to make a strategic retreat, join forces with lawyered up institutions and groups who will collectively fight the good fight.

A few more years of life in a fascist AmeriKKKa? I'd rather be remembered like Dietrich Bonhoeffer or Sophie Scholl...or maybe the (fictitious?) Barbara Fritchie.

But Damn it, this is a fight that needs to be fought. I’m in!

... I'm 74 years old and my health is not good and I have serious doubts about whether I'll still be above the ground in four years, or even in two years. Maybe I'll be around longer than I think, but what can I do? Besides giving money, writing letters to the editor, and voting. In a way, I'm glad I won't be around a whole lot longer. I don't think I'm going to like the world I'll be having to live in.
