Trump Reposts Article Defending His Attacks on Black People
On his Truth Social page Tuesday, Trump shared an article from 2022 praising his "virtues" and defending his actions. The article argued that Trump would be the best Republican candidate in the GOP primary due to his character.
The article went on to defend some of Trump's moments. Trump's reposted article defended his unhinged handling of NFL players kneeling during the national anthem to protest police brutality and system oppression:
"If there is one thing that patriotic Americans know about Trump it is that he, like them, is unequivocally pro-American and willing to fight to defend the American way of life. When Colin Kaepernick and his ilk knelt before the American flag, Trump called them “sons of bitches.” As always, he was being forceful, authentic, and unmistakably clear."
The article praised Trump for attacking NFL players like Colin Kaepernick, "sons of bitches" for kneeling. Trump's article also defended Trump calling Haiti, "a shithole" and claiming Rep. Maxine Waters has a "low IQ."
