JD Vance to Hold Indian-American Themed Dallas Fundraiser
According to a flyer obtained by MeidasTouch, JD Vance will be hosting a fundraiser in Dallas on Tuesday, September 24th. The event is asking for $50,000 - $250,000 which includes a photo and better seating for larger donations.
The Trump campaign has billed the event as an “intimidate leadership discussion” and an “Indian American Leadership” event. The event is hosted by Dallas based CEO Arun Agarwalnus who is listed as Trump’s “Indian American National Chair.”
Trump has repeatedly used Kamala Harris’ Indian heritage to attack her racial identity, issuing posts about her Indian cooking and posting pictures or her family in traditional Indian clothing to imply she is falsely claiming to be Black. Trump has also been associating with Laura Loomer who made racist comments about Harris making the White House smell like curry and establishing a call center if elected.
JD Vance’s wife is of Indian heritage and his handling of comments from Trump and his allies attacking Indians has been criticized.
