Today, those Republicans are standing with us, putting country before party,

Let's just take a moment to tally the prominent Republicans who REFUSE to endorse trump, and instead endorsed Kamala Harris:

- Liz Cheney
- Dick Cheney
- George Will
- Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger
- Former Rep. Denver Riggleman
- Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld
- Former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman
- Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan
- Former trump White House official Stephanie Grisham
- Former Trump White House official Olivia Troye
- A dozen Republican White House attorneys who worked for Reagan and the Bushes
- Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel
- 100 Republican former national security figures

These are Republicans who have chosen to steer clear of the cult of MAGA, people who were disgusted by trump's January 6th attempted coup, and remain disgusted by his embrace of dictators and his disdain for democracy.

He can't even get his own former Vice President, Mike Pence, to endorse him. This is unprecedented.

These are not "RINOs" supporting Harris; in fact, when this election is over, so will be our tenuous truce of necessity. They tend to vote for things that most Democrats would fight them on.

But not today.

Today, we're united in defeating a guy who is only ever for himself, and would wipe his ass with the Constitution if given a chance.
Today, those Republicans are standing with us, putting country before party, to defeat trump.

Just for today. 🇺🇸💪

There are a couple scummy names on that list, but there are also some people on that list who try to do the people's business even if we may not agree with them. That's how Democracy should work. I wish the Republican Party was lead by people like Kinzinger, Hagel, Wittman and others, but sad to say not the case.

I agree that it would be better to see the names you listed as leaders in the Republican party. Perhaps one day we will see more like them once the grip of MAGA fades...if it ever does.

run by people who aren't deeply disturbed individuals.
I disagreed with the majority of the Republican old guard policies, and I didn't like most of them as individuals. I never was afraid of them, however, or hated them as much as I hate Trump and his Maggats.

It's not because I don't like their policies, but because they're making it clear they have no intention of governing. They only intend to get revenge on their political enemies and don't care who they hurt along the way.

look like brothers to me. 😁

On a more serious note I can't remember there ever being this many individuals endorsing the opposition party.

4. A "Who's Who" of Neocons...

I've already (in multiple threads) explained WHY it's happening... aka the "neocon-ification" of the Democratic Party.

After Trump is defeated... we need to FLUSH all these neocon turds and send them back to their septic tanks.

Means Republicans taking over the big tent liberal Democratic Party? Because of endorsements from old neocons? How and why would that happen? Do they have special powers? Is the insinuation that both sides are the same so they'll sneak in and take over without anyone noticing? Could someone explain this theory?

First, understand WHAT a neocon is.

Justin Vaisse, Brookings Senior Fellow and author of the best Neocon book, "Neoconservatism, a Biography of a Movement" says:

Neoconservatism (I'll shorten it to NC because it's a hassle to type) started in the 1960's by DEMOCRATS who were upset by the leftward creep of the Party.

The first neocons were hawkish opponents of Communist Russia and were appalled by the anti-war movement and social movements of the era... AKA they didn't like Peace; love and groovy sex, drugs and rock and roll.

That is folks like Bill Kristol's Daddy, Irving...

So what is a neocon?

A neocon is actually pretty easy to define and understand.

Their #1 priority is American hegemony and the spread of American style... (or should I say the NC definition of) Democracy.

Neocons, through the decades never really gave much of a shit about issues like religion, abortion, guns and crap like that.

To get elected... neocons played a tune for those groups but it's not part of the philosophy.

Neocons care about just a few things. Military power and it's ample usage... Corporate partnerships to fund the movement and Political power to make all these things WORK.

To make a long story short, Trump came along.

Trump says "no more American policing of the globe" and reduced Global partnerships in the NC universe.

In addition, Trump shit talks the neocons and in essence, kills the movement.

So here are the neocons... and then Euromaidan back in 2013 and eventually the Ukrainian War

Democratic Administrations doing stuff that makes neocons happy.

Neocons become more friendly with Democrats.

As of today... Neocons have found a better home in the Democratic Party.

So we have this uncomfortable balance in the Party... with folks like Dick Cheney and AOC and Bernie under the same tent.

That's OK to get rid of Trump... but next year... FLUSH the damn toilet!!

We need to come together right now, at this point in time it is critical. This is for us, our children's future and for the entire world.

They are all depending on us.

ashamed of these endorsements. Let's defeat Trumpism once and for all, no matter who we have to partner with right now, and get the country back to some semblance of normalcy when it comes to our elections.
