My heart is absolutely breaking. This is murder of a mother. https://people.com/georgia-mom-dies-denied-life-saving-abortion-amber-nicole-thurman-8713947 A D and C under these circumstances is always done to save the life of a woman. Miscarriages are common. This is why women are so motivated, but tonight I cry for Amber and the little boy she leaves motherless because of their evil, cruelty.

love 'em this year. Amber will be in the voting precincts, Amber will be there in every early voting location, and mail in ballot.
Amber lives! Her 6 year old son will be wrapped in love too.
This year we need to take Amber voting with us.

I am imagining that doctors struggle with their oath and betraying it so they don't go to prison.

(70,981 posts)I was excited...my youngest would have a sister or brother close in age. But I miscarried. I had moved to Georgia so things ere different. But I did not know that I had chosen a right-to-life asshat doctor. With my history, all my prior doctors had done a D&C. But the murderous right to life one didn't. I knew I was in trouble and went to the office but the receptionist tossed me out...must have blood work showing hormones were decreasing. But that can take a month. I had an ultrasound and the fetus was gone. I knew it was over. I never bled in pregnancy and stayed pregnant. I was feeling crappy and the same night I went to the doctor, I hemorraged in my kitchen and I had a raging fever (infection).
My neighbor drove me because traffic is terrible in Atlanta and she didn't want to wait for an ambulance. I had three young children all crying. My son had run to the neighbor's house. When I reached the hospital, I couldn't walk and ended up in a bed with no call button, no IV...no treatment of any kind. My husband came as soon as he could and found me lying in a room with blood all over the floor, me the bed ...so much blood. I was unconscious by then. I had fought to stay awake, I knew I was dying I could feel it. And it is not an easy death.
The hospital did nothing- doctors' orders. Well, my husband arrived, screamed bloody murder, and saved my life. He fired the doctor and a young resident saved my life...I had a D&C, two transfusions, platelets and massive antibiotics. I spent three weeks in the hospital and I was weak and miserable for almost a year. They put you on the maternity floor which is torture too. I was also left infertile. I hate my doctor so much...he was willing to let me die for something that could never survive and in fact was gone. If it happened today, I would have died.

(70,981 posts)When I went back to the doctor...afterward, I only went so I could scream at the doctor...but he loftily explained he had 'principles'. He didn't even remember my name. He said I would have other kids but he left me sterile. My family was complete. But that should have been my choice not this damned woman-hating doctor.

All voters should read it before Election Day.
My heart breaks for you as I read it.
Thank God your husband saved your life.
