INDIANAPOLIS A new poll of Indiana voters conducted less than 50 days before Election Day stated that the majority of respondents are supporting Donald Trump in Novembers presidential race.
Out of 1,000 likely voters who participated in a new Emerson College Polling/The Hill survey, around 57% of Hoosier participants said they would vote for Trump, a Republican who was the 45th president of the United States. The poll was conducted earlier this month and released on Tuesday.
Trump lost in his 2020 reelection bid to Democratic challenger Joe Biden. Biden, who initially ran for reelection in 2024, was replaced on the Democratic ticket by Kamala Harris, his vice president.
In Tuesdays poll, around 40% of respondents said they would vote for Harris. Out of the total, 1.4% said they would vote for another candidate while 2.2% were undecided. This poll was conducted after the presidential debate between Trump and Harris on Sept. 10.
