Ohio Gov. DeWine holds a press conference this morning. During it he says that the 33 bomb threats received in Springfield are hoaxes meaning there are no bombs in schools or public buildings. He adds that these bomb threat calls are coming from overseas.

RW Twitter takes that and says that the calls are not real AND these calls that they are saying arent real are coming from overseas.
😜
ON EDIT - this weird twist is coming from the NY Posts spin on it.

I can provide lots of examples of this. My For You feed is nothing but fringe RWers right now.

(22,694 posts)That sounds pretty dismissive of a real problem that is shutting down the town. Would you send your kid off to a school that is receiving multiple bomb threats every day? Would you go to work if your workplace was receiving bomb threats?
It is not a "hoax". It is political terrorism. It is a coordinated effort by Republican leaders to scare the shit out of people so that they will flock to "the strong man" for support.
If you got phone calls every day threatening to kill your family members, would you call that a "hoax" or would you call it harassment and terrorizing?
