(1,407 posts)Howard Dean was right. Even though dem policies helped voters in the middle of the country, just going to big cities reinforced the republican narrative that dems didnt care about them and were elitist.
Not with this team. They are going to go wherever and I love it!!

(920 posts)With friends and family, Walz is a huge positive for people who were previously disinterested in the election or still on the fence.
Cant wait for the debate and would love to see him on SNL or some other interesting media.

(90,368 posts)but I don't know if it was lowering expectations or that he meant an academic debate like in a class.
But the thing he has going for him is being personally likable while Vance is the complete opposite. I think just showing this contrast would be better in terms of how it can help us than about winning specific debate points.
Watch the video of Vance at the donut shop to see the difference with this video. Both involve the candidates speaking to similar age young people. Even though Vance is younger there is zero connection with them.

Every vote counts as well as being with voters face to face. People are getting to know Tim Walz for the down to earth FACTS guy that he has always been. Those who meet him and come into contact with him see that right away.
