The people will never be able to reject what he stands for

The problem doesn't go away with Trump. He isn't doing this alone. The Republican Party has had many opportunities to shut him down.
If we don't solve this, it continues. Like Colombine, the idea is out of the bag and there will be copy cats. Likely with a smarter, less transparent demagogue.

I do believe Kamala will win, but I’m nervous. We’ve been robbed before. If it were all to end suddenly because Trump stroked out in the middle of one of his rallies, I would have no regrets.

I would prefer he not be martyred by a bullet, but thousands of people die every year from gun violence in this country. If he joined their numbers I would consider it a fitting end.

I just want him gone. Humiliated and jailed is optimal, but dead of natural or unnatural causes works too. Gone is gone.

I don’t think it’s hurting us politically (although it’s certainly hurting immigrants). My uncle and cousin are both right wingers and they think the immigrant stuff is bullshit. That stuff might play to 30% of the country but it won’t affect our ability to win the election.
