OH Gov DeWine sending in OH State Troopers to Springfield schools tomorrow; "We want parents to feel safe."

CBS News
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine says he is sending state troopers to schools in the Springfield, Ohio area starting Tuesday, as the community faces repeated threats amid false claims about Haitian immigrants there.

"We want parents...to feel that it's very, very safe for them to send their children to school," DeWine tells CBS's Nikole Killian.

And he's endorsing the guy who caused the problem? That must be republican logic because I don't understand it.

7. It's easy: He wants them to feel that their children are safe, not make the children safe.

How posting troopers in the school (see my reply, "Wow! this is alarming:" to https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=19471936) will deter bomb threats made over the phone, social media or emails defies rational thinking! Children and parents will still feel terrorized and probably more so if the threats continue after the troopers are posted in the schools.

3. Find a way to hold JD Vance accountable for 'telling stories' that trigger all these threats.

Isn't there a difference between exercising free speech and knowingly creating threats to the public?

Sad that Trump and Vance declared war on them but at least he seems to care.

5. DeWine then explained that feeling unsafe was directly caused by outright lies amplified by Trump and Ohio's own JD?

I am sure a journalist followed up trying to get an answer prior to the report?

Think. Again.
